Open Log: Shiraishi's birthday

What: Some want to congratulate Shiraishi. Some even want to give him presents. Some have even provided cake. It's a busier day than Shiraishi thought it would be.

Later in the evening, Shiraishi is easiest to find relaxing and having a nice cup of tea in one of the kitches in Basil Gardens. For a day off from both school and work, the day's been busier than usual. Not that he minds. It's fun to meet with his friends and he's glad to have so many amazing ones.

Even if he doesn't really understand the fuss about birthdays sometimes, he needs to admit that being remembered like this is a nice feeling.

Shinji walked into Basil Gardens after spending some time in the library studying. He spotted Shiraishi drinking something, but from this distance he couldn't tell if it was tea, water, coffee, or a potentially questionable beverage. It was late enough that Shinji supposed it shouldn't be coffee, unless Shiraishi was the type of person who liked to stay up late and needed the caffeine boost. He himself wasn't like that and usually went to bed no later than 9:30pm, but he could be convinced to stay up depending on who asked.

"Good evening, Shiraishi-san," Shinji said as he got closer to him. "I hope you're having a good day."

Shiraishi looked at Shinji with a fairly relaxed and content smile on his face. He's mostly dressed in really loose clothes, but they aren't a very good implication of whether he's getting ready to go to bed or not. Just that he's, well, comfortable.

"Good evening, Ibu-kun. I am, thank you. I hope yours has been great as well."
