Open Log: Shiraishi's birthday

What: Some want to congratulate Shiraishi. Some even want to give him presents. Some have even provided cake. It's a busier day than Shiraishi thought it would be.

Later in the evening, Shiraishi is easiest to find relaxing and having a nice cup of tea in one of the kitches in Basil Gardens. For a day off from both school and work, the day's been busier than usual. Not that he minds. It's fun to meet with his friends and he's glad to have so many amazing ones.

Even if he doesn't really understand the fuss about birthdays sometimes, he needs to admit that being remembered like this is a nice feeling.

Instead of actually replying to the text message, Shiraishi walked over to the door to open it for Zaizen. "Please spare the strawberries. They haven't done anything wrong."

[xyzai]

"But your window, on the other hand..." Zaizen said, walking in past Shiraishi and shuffling off his sneakers. In honor of Shiraishi's birthday, he had opted to wear a diamond birthstone and then Shitenhouji colors up his ears.

He turned to look at Shiraishi for a second, then he poked him on the arm. "Happy birthday."

Shiraishi notices the colors on his ears and makes him smile. The diamond birthstone is also a nice touch.

... and somehow the poke is very him. "Thank you. It's nice to be able to spend it with friends."

"Stop being cute, it's rude," Zaizen pointed out, glaring mildly at Shiraishi as he proceeded deeper into Basil Gardens toward the kitchen. But the words did suggest that Shiraishi had managed to develop other plans. "What else are you doing for the day?"

"I can't even be cute on my birthday? That's even more rude." Shiraishi follows behind him, seeming rather relaxed. "Seiichi wants me to visit the store later and I think Syuusuke also hinted at something."

[xyzai]

"On birthdays it's actually illegal," Zaizen said, setting his goods on the counter when they had arrived in the large common kitchen. "...And hinted at something?" he looked over his shoulder in question.
