Name: Tezuka Kunimitsu

Appearance: God no – he FINALLY is the age he looks. Though he did put on some weight/muscle.
Personality: Tezuka Kunimitsu is rather earnest, introverted young man. He devotes his time to his pursuit of a tennis career, his studies as a part time student and on the off chance that there is time left to his hobbies. Chief amongst those are tending to his bonsai. As a change of pace, he has lately taken to writing poetry and a few attempts at making his own sausage. Now and again he has been known to also visit a nearby second-hand bookshop.
Biography:
To no one’s surprise Tezuka has kept playing tennis while maintaining his education, doing his best to keep up with both at least as a part time student. It has kept him from breaking through to the big international competitions yet but he isn’t carelss enough to go without a back-up plan. After all injuries happen and he has no wish to be left with no marketable skill. So after doing a stint as a teacher in training and quickly realising that that is not the career for him Tezuka has decided to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps in a way and join the police academy after completing his degree in Criminal Justice.
Upon his mother’s encouragement and to spare his family the hassle of his at times unpredictable comings and goings he has moved out and is currently renting a room at the acceptably priced Mikiya Mansion. While his parents support him financially he at times subs as a coach at a private tennis club for spending money.

Critically Tezuka stared down at the rows of neatly lined up characters he had just penned on the crisp white paper of the notebook his parents had given him as a present for his last birthday. At first it had been intended as a diary of sorts – something to maybe one day leaf through and reminisce but he soon found that he was not given to such idle flights of fancy. Just as he had never been one for idle chit chat the thought of putting the dreary but necessary minutia of his daily life to paper had held little to no appeal to him. Upon discussing this with his now almost ninety years old Grandfather, the old Tezuka had suggested trying something a little unconventional might get his ‘creative juices flowing’ and so he had set himself the task of writing these sort of post modern haiku instead.
If nothing else the challenge of distilling the message to be conveyed into such a carefully controlled structure was keeping him interested. Even if the latest one wasn’t 100% to his taste – too much trite platitudes he figured. Next time he would have to find something he could feel more connected to.
Picking up his pen again he tapped it's bottom thoughtfully to his cheek then decisively marked down the characters of the first line
A challenge every time…

Appearance: His hair is shorter since it is a hassle to always have to tie it back but other than that much the same and still rocking the hell out of those fake glasses.
Personality: Intelligent and quirky Yuushi has always had a way to get what he wants out of any situation. He is charming and witty, generally good natured and polite especially with the ladies. As a self-declared expert on all things romance he is only too happy to share his words of wisdom with anybody lucky (or unlucky) enough to mention anything to do with love.
Biography:
Much to his family’s dismay Yuushi, while indeed following his forefather’s footsteps into the field of medicine has decided against pursuing a proper medical degree and has instead enrolled in the Kasumigaura School for Nursing with his declared goal being to one day work as a school nurse. Of course, he already owns the perfect outfit.

Name: Shishido Ryō
Journal: [this one]
Appearance: After junior high, Shishido tried to grow out his hair just to realise how much work it was and decided from then on to keep it short, but he is not very disciplined tabout going to hairdressers so it’s always a little longer than he wants it to be. I’m keeping his anime eye and hair colour. He used to be 172cm and is now 180cm, he is surprised himself that he grew taller. He looks slender as he doesn’t workout as hard as he did back then and lost some muscle mass.
Personality: Despite the grumpy and arrogant exterior, Shishido is a massive dork, the type who has sci-fi film posters on his walls, figurines, dorky books and magazines. He tends to see himself as one of the good guys, responsible and dependable, he is always up for helping people, but prefers doing it with a bit of a heroic flare. Being a non-flamboyant Hyoutei drama queen, he can’t help being overly dramatic at times, do impulsive things he secretly regrets (such as cutting his hair) and sacrificing himself for whatever cause he believes is deserving of his heroism. He is very loyal and a great friend to have, but gaining his trust is not so easy as he needs to find that same loyalty and justice in the other person before letting them in. A little short tempered, he can get into arguments easily, but getting physical is rare–but not unheard of.
Biography:Shishido had a very regular senior high experience at Hyoutei, then, against his parents desires, he left on a volunteering program around the world. He returned after a year, studied like a maniac, took his exams and got into Tokyo Institute of Technology to study Earth Science. He lives at Basil Gardens and is starting his 2nd year. As far as tennis goes, he never played competitive again after junior high as his doubles partner wasn’t there. He does play for fun however, and is part of the tennis club, but his time is spent on more rewarding things now. He interns at the ERI (Earthquake Research Institute), which is part of Tokyo University, but his father has contacts and got that for him.
RP Samples:
This is super lame. 2am and I’m still working on research papers while drowning in coffee to keep me going. The culprit… The Last Jedi, it just came out this week so I couldn’t do anything after i bought it. I have this thing where I need to marathon everytime I buy a new StarWars film. Not cos I forgot, I know them by heart almost, but I don’t know, it is what it is… I’m disappointed with the quality tho, it doesn’t look as good as I thought it would be. But even if this was filmed in 8mm it would still be awesome because Rei would be in it.
I might go out and have a walk… try to get this brain started again.

Appearance:
He looks much the same, just without the hat. And his old man clothing esthetic has become much more in style so he’s unintentionally trendy with the hipster crowd.
Personality:
Sanada is hard working and focused on his goals. He doesn’t believe in doing something unless you’re going to put your full effort into it. But he still has time for his best friends (Best rivals). He’s more reluctant to give his time up for others but he can be talked into things. He has learned some anger management so he is less likely to slap people he’s angry at or disappointed in. His sense of humour, when he shows he has one, is a bit dry and he may miss when you’re teasing him back.
Biography:
Sanada spent high school much the same way he spent junior high school; focusing on tennis, his team, his studies at home with his family, and finally his studies at school.
Because of three years of competitive high school tennis, his knees cannot safely hold up for a full agressive match and he had to spend more and more time rehabilitating them in his final year of high school. It was because of this, and with great reluctance (and some fear) he told Yukimura he would not be continuing tennis in university beyond a friendly game with friends. He still goes into Tokyo for special rehabilitation once a month and more if he has been pushing himself and his knees are acting up.
He has switched the entirety of his sports focus to kendo. He finds it doesn’t put the same strain on his knees as long tennis matches if he’s careful. He has also excelled at in the past few years and has moved up in rank and competitive standing. He’s now one of the top kendo players in Japan. He is also on the committee that is lobbying to have it recognized as an Olympic sport. Sanada believes if judo (the Tezuka family’s sport of choice) is an olympic sport than there’s no reason why kendo shouldn’t be. Because of his involvement on the committee he has had to focus more on learning English and speech giving. He also sometimes travels abroad which has given him a bit more of a world view… though he still thinks the traditional Japanese way for most things is the best way.
And because during high school, studying for classes was often last on his list of priorities, he decided to take the opportunity attending Rikkai High School gave him and attend Rikkai University without having to take an entrance exam. He’s studying in a general business degree with all of his electives being used on Japanese history and literature.
As he’s attending Rikkai University and focused on kendo, he elected to live at home with his family. Though because Sasuke is going through extra annoying teenage years and his brother decided to have two more children who are somehow even noisier than Sanada ever thought possible, he’s happy to find any excuse to spend time with his friends out in the city or at their apartments. He especially enjoys hanging out with Yukimura or Yanagi as they can easily pass the time pursuing their own quiet interests without it feeling awkward or forced.
Despite enjoying the freedom that university gives him, Sanada is still more likely to be found sitting on tatami and writing calligraphy or in the dojo practicing his kendo than out late at night in the city or at parties. He is quite disciplined in his schedule and strict hours he keeps though he is willing to bend it more for friends than he did when in high school.
RP Samples:
Sanada took a deep breath and dipped his brush into the black ink before carefully bringing it up and over the paper. In a few deliberate strokes he will have finished a new wall scroll. It had a seasonal flower theme to the words and Sanada thought Yukimura might like it. But it all relied on perfecting this last kanji.
He released his breath, brush poised and inhaled as he put the brush to paper. The first stroke was perfect, the second flowed across the paper like liquid art, the third we- Loud music blasted from the room beside him and he jerked, causing his brush to smear across the paper.
“SASUKE!” Sanada yelled. He tossed the brush down on the ruined paper and jumped to his feet, prepared to storm over to his nephew’s room and remind him for the third time this week that blasting music was not acceptable. But he stopped himself at the door and took in a deep breath. He closed his eyes and thought of Yukimura how he had last seen him, showing the latest batch of flowers to come into bloom to Yanagi. He let out his breath and took several more.
Once he was sure he would no longer strangle Sasuke or toss his speakers into the family pond, he walked across the hall to have words with his nephew. He was two strokes away from perfection and he would make Sasuke understand that upsetting the tranquility of the house at his age was unacceptable.

Name: Kirihara Akaya
Journal:
Appearance: Pretty much the same Akaya everyone knows! He's quite a bit taller now, around ~177cm, and as such has filled out accordingly (he is solidly-built; not like Sanada-tier but still solid, somewhat at odds with his cute face), but that's just about the only difference.
Personality: While Akaya has matured somewhat over the past six years, he's still definitely himself. A casual, open person with a confident-bordering-arrogant air to him, Akaya is an extrovert who likes making friends. While he can still be a bit dense, his wit and knowledge are a lot sharper than they were in middle school. Dealing with emotional problems still isn't a strong suit and his thin skin remains, however. Provoking him isn't anywhere near as easy as it once was, but getting him truly angry is still probably a Bad Move. In his free time he likes hanging out and playing video games or chatting online. After spending too much time sulking in America after one disappointing US Open, he has a voracious addiction to the shittiest tier of light beer.
Biography: After being calmly reminded that language was an important skill for a pro tennis player, Akaya really buckled down during high school. After getting past his initial disdain for study, he found himself actually enjoying English. Keeping the rest of his grades up to scratch was still an issue, however with some determination and quite a bit of assistance Akaya graduated with a fairly decent set of scores. As a result, he is currently studying International Relations (very) part-time at Waseda University. He isn't doing so well, but it's good for his image.
Speaking of his image, Akaya naturally pursued a pro tennis career. He has done quite well for himself, having participated in several Grand Slams over the past three years and gathering a stash of minor titles to his name. After a particularly commanding victory over a local favourite at this year's Australian Open and a resultant showing in the semi-finals (losing 3-2 to a particularly irritating German player), he has developed a decent fanbase and has solidified himself as a real contender for future wins. Akaya plays more fairly these days, relying on his blistering pace and power - a significantly less amount of blood hits the court, though occasionally a stray shot might collide with a knee every now and then. Accidentally, of course.
Unfortunately, the Golden Age of tennis being the way it is, he's facing down competition from familiar Japanese players as well as International threats. Currently he's hovering around world no.35 due to his recent success. He also has a small following as a video game streamer, known for being absolutely awful at Tekken but pretty good at Smash and Pokemon. He lives alone in a rented apartment, but finds that it gets lonely sometimes.

Name: Fuji Shuusuke

Appearance: Not changing at all~.
Personality: Fuji is the always smiling and ever calm prodigy, who always seems very cheerful and easy-going on the outside even when that's not always how he feels inside. He has just learned to hide most things too well behind that smile but people who really know him also know when he is faking it. He enjoys teasing people just for fun but also for seeing their more or less cute reactions. Fuji is friendly and social though he will rather not talk about himself and focuses his attention on being extremely curious about everyone around him instead. People talk about him enough, he is actually not as perfect as some say he is but he likes keeping himself and his real feelings as a mystery to everyone else most of the time.
Fuji has his serious side too, he just doesn't show it nor get angry very often. Or sometimes when he gets angry, it only shows in the air around him while he keeps his usual face on. If he opens his eyes whenever he is furious, they look like the glare from them could kill anyone he is looking at. He doesn't mind whatever people do or say to him about himself, or at least that's not how to get him angry, but if anyone says / does bad things to Yuuta or one of Fuji's friends or some innocent stranger even, then that's another story. Don't make him angry or he'll make you regret it is kind of how it goes.
He still enjoys spicy food and wasabi and absolutely loves photographing everything.
Biography: Fuji has been spending a lot of his time abroad, going anywhere whenever he has had time / chances/ money to go see the world outside Japan. He's visited Europe, India, Africa, Australia though he will gladly go to any of those again or go somewhere in Europe or anywhere else where he hasn't been yet.
He went to Seigaku high school though he spent much of his high school time as an exchange student in the United States.
So he has been photographing a lot. He also still plays tennis, whether or not he'll aim to be pro in that is something he's not sure of. Traveling around the world and seeing everything there is has been much more interesting.
Somehow he has managed to get through one year of uni, so everything won't be completely new to him. He's going to his 2nd year instead of third because he skipped one year, spending it on traveling and focusing on everything else than studying.
Surprising no one, his major is photography. He's moving into the Basil Gardens because as much as he'd enjoy the idea of living alone in his own peaceful room, the idea of having roommates, following others' roommate lives as close as he can and getting more people around him is much more interesting to his curiosity.
RP Samples: I guess you could take this post a sign, that I may have survived alive from Africa. Though someone tried to feed us all to lions on one of our safari rides... Did you know that they can and sometimes will open unlocked doors if they get close enough to try that?^_^ You might want to have fast reflexes to shut it before they jump into your car when a situation like that happens.
Well, maybe this roommate life will be just as interesting but much less dangerous than that~.
But I really don't want to be stuck in a room or dorm and it almost feels like I haven't seen anyone in forever, so you -- yes, all of you who are reading this -- let's do something together, okay? ^_^

Appearance: still the same.
Personality: Kai is a very carefree and relaxed person. It's rare to see him get very serious or angry at anyone. Even if he sometimes does get annoyed, it usually passes rather quickly due to him either forgetting or just not caring enough to hold a grugdge. He's brash and impulsive and always out looking for something interesting to do without actually carrying any sort of responsibilities. He's hard to actually control, unless you know how. Kai also has a tendency to be rather rude and say things before giving it another thought.
Biography: After middle school, Kai continue to play tennis as a hobby. He went to High School in Okinawa, but after annoying three years he decided to not go to college or uni. Instead he moved to Tokyo and became an apprentice to a silver crafter. The jewelries he makes he sells and that's basically his source of income, which is why living in the dormitories (Basil Gardens) is a good deal for him. Unfortunately, Tokyo is huge and he gets lost fairly often even today. He tried to keep in touch with all of his Higa teammates still.
RP Samples:
Aiyeeh. Shibuya is larger than I expected. If it wasn't for Eishirou, I'm not sure if I would have made it back home. On the bright side, I managed to find very cool things on the way. Too bad I couldn't afford all things I wanted, but I took pics at least.
Too bad I missed work, but at least boss is a very chill man. And he'll be pleased with the ideas I got anyway, so it's all cool.
Kai Yuujirou. I used to play for Higa. Nowadays I play for fun every now and then. I'm more into making accessories. Nice to meet ya'll again.

Appearance: Besides that brief phase involving a rather unfortunate purple dye job, Yagyuu himself hasn’t changed much since junior high school. He’s opted to keep the same style and look throughout the years, albeit with a more relaxed feel to it.
Personality: According to his peers and professors, Yagyuu’s the epitome of a model student- respectful, smart, and always ready to lend a helping hand. It’s boring but it gets things done with little to no fuss involved. One would think that entering Toudai’s Faculty of Law had served to emphasize further Yagyuu’s ever-present prudishness; however, a glance or two by those who know him well would say otherwise. Yagyuu’s good-natured exterior hides a vicious and devious streak that appears in the most opportune moments.
Biography: As per his father’s conditions, Yagyuu was able to play tennis up until his final year of high school. After that, he set on preparing to enter Toudai to follow his father’s footsteps to become a doctor. However, in his first year of university, Yagyuu discovered several things: one of them being that medicine wasn’t for him. After countless arguments with his father and a few soul-searching journeys here and there, he shifted to law with hopes of becoming a criminal lawyer- the closest thing he’ll ever reach in fulfilling his detective fantasies while satisfying his parents.
Currently, Yagyuu works part-time at an airsoft shop that allows him to study his piles of readings whenever the day’s slow; and in his spare time, he can be found in the nearby gym learning how to box. He lives in Mikiya Mansion to avoid bothering his family with his “erratic” schedule and to get used to living on his own.
RP Samples: Yagyuu highlighted several words on the page before pushing up his glasses. He glanced at the clock above the shop’s entrance and sighed. It was another slow day but at least he’d be able to finish reading about a third of the readings his professor had assigned to them. He was about to turn to the next page when the bells on the door jingled. Yagyuu quickly stood up, plastering a smile on his face as he greeted the customer with a bow.

Name: Chitose Miyuki

Appearance: ...She's between 9 and 10 in canon and she'll be 15 here until her headcanon birthday (July 7th), so she's getting all the changes from a little girl to that! Miyuki is 165cm / 5'4" and she's still growing though she doubts she'll ever be a giraffe like her brother. She's slim with an athletic and toned figure and she works hard to keep it that way. Her hair is so long that it almost reaches her wiast and she's just letting it grow. She's wears casually; hoodies, jeans, sporty clothes, anything that's not too girly for her taste. ...Just a style she's used to, not that she has anything against girly things.
Personality: Miyuki is a cheerful girl, who is much like a energetic/hyperactive duracel rabbit, who needs something to do all the time and doesn't want to get bored by staying still and doing nothing. While she's not as wild as Kintarou, she's like the opposite of her brother, Senri, who seems to be calm most of the time. Whenever Miyuki gets an idea, it doesn't matter how crazy it is, she's already on her way to do it. Not that it needs to be a crazy idea when almost anything works for her as long as there's something to do. She's really carefree and impulsive. If one thing doesn't work, then there's always something else waiting for her. She's friendly, it's easy for her to be social or come up with things to do alone too if no one else has time to do anything with her. She cares about the people close to her a lot and worries about them a lot, even after just meeting them.
She has an extremely fierce temper, that sometimes leads to her own conclusions about situations and definitely makes her yell at people a lot whenever someone or something makes her mad. If she's mistaken about something, she'll calm down easily as if no yelling even happened but she also won't hesitate to speak her mind at all. She's spicy and blunt, always honestly telling her opinions and openly showing her feelings instead of trying to hide them... Though after a moment she'll be the usual tough girl again. She won't let anyone bully others, that's mean and wrong and she'll run between any situation to stop that even if she has no chance against the bullies herself. She has confidence and a very strong sense of justice, that won't get her very far if the situation is really hard but she is a stubborn girl, who will rather die than give up as she herself says it. Miyuki is rowdy, she will fight anyone if they give her any good reason for it. Don't steal her stuff if you don't want her to yell at you!
Biography: After getting over yips, winning her school's tennis tournament and watching Seigaku win the Nationals, Miyuki has been playing tennis in Kyushu even more seriously than before. She won the school tournament on her fifth and sixth year too.
Her plan after elementary school was to move to Osaka for her junior high school years much like her brother did before her. That plan didn't work as her parents didn't let her go because apparently for some reason they have different rules for their daughter than they have for Senri. That's so unfair, Miyuki's not a baby and she would totally spend more time in school than Senri ever spends there during school year! She's actually really good at school too even when she has a lot of hobbies and sport life goals. But to make her parents worry even less about how she'll be able to take care of herself in bigger cities, she's been training martial arts and kickboxing too because fierce yelling won't get her far anywhere and what if everything can't be solved by tennis? At least she'll know some self-defense if she ever needs it. They've been just hobbies while she has been playing in her junior high school's tennis team as a singles player during her years there.
Whenever she has had chances to go to visit Osaka and/or Tokyo, she has jumped on those without any hesitation. Sometimes it has meant running away from home after a fight with her parents as if that proves them wrong about her not being able to make it there on her own (excuse them, at least she knows that Mt. Fuji is not in Tokyo...) but most of the time, she's been a good girl and traveled with their permission on her holidays and long weekends.
She has always thought of An Tachibana as her older sister figure even before Tachibanas moved to Tokyo. So even when they've been living so far away from each other, Miyuki has been spamming her with things a lot with the help of the Internet and her smart phone. And whenever she has been able to go to Tokyo, she's been staying at their home where her parents have been able to sort of adopt her as part of the family too. So, it was easier to talk her parents into letting Miyuki move to Tokyo too if she can (temporarily) live in the Tachibana household while An still lives there too to make the whole moving to new city thing to go smoother. She'll move somewhere else later, but that's her first living arrangement as her baby steps to living in a huge city.

Sorry not sorry for the caps, you should all post in caps if you comment on that to join me in my excitement nnncha~♪ Serioysly though, they let Senri go study in Osaka but I had to wait until now to get to go anywhere?? Thank, parents, that's very nice esp considering how my school attendance rate must be like... over 50% better than dear giraffe's is ever going to be.
So anyway, I'm not here to just complain about any of that. Hi, hello! Name's Chitose Miyuki, if you are smart you see my age somewhere else on this post and since apparently everyone came to Tokyo, I moved here too though I'm only going to high school and not uni like most of you probably are... idek, this seemed like the best way to meet everyone instead of just running around, so now I'm here too.
My bro isn't around yet? Typical, maybe he'll show up sooner or later. Well, I'm used to coming up with things to do on my own (but Sen-nii, if you're like stalking this, you should totally join here too w/o even going to uni or whatever!!)
...So who wants to come try all the things to do around here with me?!? Let's go right now!! :D
