Stunned once more, Akaya could only watch Tezuka's retreating silhouette with the expression of someone who had been absolutely floored. If someone were to enter the kitchen in Tezuka's place at this moment, they would only see two young men in various states being completely incapacitated.
After a solid few minutes of recovery time, Akaya remained partly on autopilot. Picking up the ears from the table, he slid them almost delicately into Zaizen's hair, before taking the other boy's plate and absently eating the remainder of his breakfast.
"If you die, I'm burning all your guitars," he murmured a short time later, the food having jump-started his functionality.
