[Reference] Keio University
Mar. 3rd, 2018 08:34 pmCrys and I stalked like deranged fan girls visited Keio University to stalk like deranged fan girls take a few photographs for background and deranged fan girling plotting.
This is the Mita Campus, where third year business students would be based. Lower years would be on the Hiyoshi Campus, regardless of discipline (according to this site: fear Crys' sleuthing powers).

The campus is very central in Tokyo (close to Tokyo Tower) but feels quite separated in its own little bubble. The buildings are a mix of Oxbridge-like stonework and modern concrete and glass. There are at least two naked male statues on campus. The gate (top right) is a historic landmark known as "Phantom of the Gate" and is the old university entrance (the most prominent current entrance is just behind it: you go through the building shown on the top left, turn left under the archway in the top middle image and then you see the phantom gates).
The most famous building is under construction. (Crys, was this the library?) Notably, the sign said work begun two years ago, just when Atobe would have been starting at Keio, and it finishes next year. My personal theory is this grandiose building was insufficiently grandiose for Atobe's graduation, so he insisted it was refurnished before he gets his cap and gown.
Also, we bought teas in the gift shop. They were pretentious.
