Cakes have been baked and decorated and all that is left is to taste! Win or lose in the end everyone gets cake. Isn't that what truly matters?

This Open log is open to everyone even if a character didn't comment and say that they were explicitly coming. Open area free for all. 

Feel free to allow this as a chance for your characters to mingle!

Yanagi wasn't sure when his best-friend duties had expanded to include photographing Sanada with his heirloom rock. Still, he was nothing if not adaptable.

"Stand a little to the left so I can include more of the room in the shot," he suggested.

"What?" Sanada asked in confusion but did move to where Yanagi told him to. "I don't need a picture of me with the rock," He added on when he realized what Yanagi was doing. He just needed his friend to hold his phone while he dug out the rock. It's not like it was the lightest thing to carry around.

"Ah, my apologies," said Yanagi, though he wasn't really sorry at all, considering it would probably take much less time to do it this way. "I think you do need a picture with the rock. Then you can show your family your adventures with it."

[gtl_yukimura]

Yukimura watched from the doorway as his friends took pictures of a rock next to one of the cakes. He thought it was utterly ridiculous, but also strangely endearing. If he thought about it too much, he would likely get a headache.

Walking up to them, we rose on tip-toes to see what they were doing. Damn them for being so tall. "Are you actually going to eat any cake or just have a photoshoot?" Yukimura asked.

Sanada paused in his rock posing and glaring away others from eating the cake while he got his picture to look at Yukimura. He hadn't thought about actually eating any of the cake. But now that Yukimura pointed it out... "I suppose it would be rude to come to the contest and not sample the cakes." He could already tell they'd be far too sweet for his tastes though.
