What: Akaya's Victory Party
When: Saturday, April 21st
Where: Akaya's apartment, and then a club a short train ride away

Join in for an evening of belated celebration! The party starts with an oh so black and yellow surprise party at Akaya's apartment for eating, drinking, and mingling. Those who still want to enjoy the night can venture on to the club afterparty (accessible to all ages), where there will be games and dancing.

See below for details. Characters can PM or text Zaizen to be let in at whatever stage they wish to join.

NOTE: For ease of play, do not worry about chronology. Tag wherever strikes your fancy! If it is on a section after PARTY -- SURPRISE, assume that Akaya has already been surprised and everything is already decorated in bee-themed glory.

Arrive to the party before Akaya returns and help put things up! Or supervise whatever black-yellow-and-shiny monstrosity comes to life in the otherwise normal apartment.

Kamio arrived quickly, per usual, but perhaps not as quickly as he could have without the balloons and daiso decorations he was currently setting up. Yellow and black balloons adorned with googly eyes floated up toward the ceiling as Kamio attempted to unwind streamers, but only succeeded in tangling himself up in them.

"Crap," he shook his arms and legs to no avail. The shiniest streamer quite stubbornly clung to his limbs.

With a few bags of homemade goodies in tow An had arrived early than she had expected. Either way she was sure they'd be needing help with somethings like decorations.

Noticing Kamio she let out a light laugh as she placed her bag on the kitchen counter, "Need some help there?"

Kamio looked sheepishly down at An and held out his mummified and very well decorated arms, "Please!"

She shook her head with a smile. " Maybe we should hang you up. You're looking like a good decoration, you can even sing out a few times." Another laugh escaped her mouth as she untangled the red head.

"I'm sure Kirihara-kun would appreciate it."

Sputtering and blushing, Kamio flailed a little bit, which didn't much An-chan in helping to undo his spectacular predicament. "The rope we bought for the piñata isnt that strong!"

But for all of An's teasing, he was soon out of the paper binds. "Thanks, An-chan," he peeked over behind her. "What did you bring?"

Having Kamio stay still was hard but even so she managed to be able to start getting the streamers off of him. "You're pretty skinny I think it could hold you." She teased one last time before setting down the streamers on to a near by chair.

"Oh, I made some karaage and cookies to go along with the rest of the food. I made sure to make plenty!" She had thought about possibly making other options but kaarage was usually something that everyone liked.

"It could not!" Kamio protested weakly, peeking around An toward the karaage. He wasn't too into fried food, but it was made by An-chan and smelled more appealing than pizza (but maybe he would steal some toppings from Shinji). "...I'll definitely try some."

It probably could but An decided to drop it since it'd only turn into a back and forth of yes and no's.

Looking at Kamio's handiwork An grabbed one of the streamers that she had set down and held it up. " If you want too~It is fried and I know you're not a fan, " She paused and looked back to Kamio with a smile, "Do you want to put them up or should I?"

"Yeah, but they were made by An-chan, so I really want to try one," somehow, when things were made by someone they cared about, they tasted that much more delicious.

"It's a bit high," Kamio admitted, which was part of what caused his conundrum in the first place. He could stand on a chair, but then he would have to move it a few feet each time and would take way too long. Struck with brilliance, he beamed at An, "Do you mind sitting on my shoulders and doing it?"

Even An was susceptible to blushing from time to time even if it was faint but it made her happy to hear that. Her smile grew, "Okay~ I'm sure a piece or two will be fine then."

At the red heads question An blinked a few times, staring at the wall and back to him again before nodding with a grin. " Hmm...I think we could do that, it does seem slightly faster." It was a good thing that she wore some leggings underneath her skirt if not it'd be impossible.

Kamio was staring up at the ceiling and determining their strategy with a furrowed little frown. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught An's blush, which prompted him to turn and blink down at her, a honestly somewhat awed.

"...Okay," he said, double fired up to try some friend chicken. His smile echoed hers. "And yeah -- yeah right!" Kamio shook his head, prompting his hair this way and that as he scuttled down. "I'll pick you up, just hold onto my head."

Kamio hadn't really foreseen that this would involve basically ducking his head between An's legs. He swallowed thickly and thanked every deity that she wore leggings, or he would have combusted by now. Fortified, he took hold of her knees and used his top half as a scoop, getting her quite easily up on his shoulders.

"Should I grab on to your ears instead?" She joked hoping that she could keep her balance.

Letting out an anxious laugh as Kamio ducked between her legs , a few seconds later she was up and apologizing as she accidentally pulled on the red head's hair. "I thought I was going to be more steady."

Kamio winced with the pull, but straightened as quickly as he could for both of their sakes. "Uhm..." he adjusted his grip on An's knees and took a moment to catch his breath. "You could, but I think I'd rather you just keep them on my head. I promise not to drop you."

After all -- he thought -- if he didn't drop her with that hair tug, nothing could make him do so.

Shinji shifted the weight of the piñata under his arm and opened the door to Kirihara's place. He also had a bag of extra googly eyes just in case they wanted to put more on the other decorations that were going to be put up. There was a lot of black and yellow. It kind of looked like a bumblebee had exploded all over the room. He quickly made his way over to where An-chan and Kamio were standing.

"I have the piñata," Shinji started. "I also have extra googly eyes if we want to do anything with them. Kamio and I stayed up kind of late to get it done, but I think it came out really well, though I have no idea if it will be able to get cracked open since we used duct tape to keep the goya shape."

Eiji burst into Kamio's apartment with a shouted apology for his running late, beaming when he saw that Kamio and the others had already started on the decorating. "I guess I missed mosta the fun, but I was looking everywhere for black 'n yellow dizzy danglers!"

Eiji loved the idea of something called 'dizzy danglers', plus they were pretty fun looking. "Whoaaa that piñata is awesome!"

An grinned once she saw Shinji and the homemade piñata. She was actually quite impressed. "You guys did a pretty good job!" She poked it for a moment to check how firm it really was. "If worse comes to worse we can always just stab it with a nice." Now didn't that sound like a a Serial killer's favorite way of busting a piñata open."

She was about to speak but stopped when she saw another familiar red head make his way towards them. "I didn't know you were coming, Eiji-senpai." She said with a smile, it was nice seeing the older boy especially with all the energy that he brought.
